WHAT SEEPED IN...

Walking back from the village church,
Foliage abundant around me freshness rich,
Breathing the purity that seeped through my cells
and letting it goose-bump-up, on ringing memory bells,
Waving mental 'hi's at nostalgic junctions and joints
Savouring the rush of feelings, forgotten in life's toils
I strolled the road back home thinking
and with my Ipod in my ears, singing
the essence of why and how my life took
all it's twists and turns, and shook
a lot of my beliefs, convictions and ways
to lead me where I'd eventually stay
Singing to my heart's content, the silent song,
of peace, courage and love, all day long
The wilderness, faces, joints and roads,
playing their part, as I peacefully strode,
ensured that I joined the pieces tight,
of the puzzles of thoughts, that shaped my life, right!
